Notes/Warnings: I wasn't quite sure if this drabble would stand alone following Back to You but the muse and I are at war at present so I thought I'd post it anyway and see what happens. A knock on her door later that night and she knew it was him.
“Mind if I come in?”
“Yes!” she snapped, though she turned and left the door open.
“Not happy to see me?”
“Dammit Ian, I didn’t need to be rescued today.”
“No, you didn’t. That guy just needed to be shot.”
She opened her mouth to argue, but laughed instead. He was likely the only man in the world who could say such a thing and get away with it.
“Can I get you a drink?”
“I have a better idea,” he smirked, looking toward the bedroom.
